- 3 bell peppers (red, yellow, orange), sliced into strips
- 1.5 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced (or 1/2 tsp garlic powder)
- Squeeze of lemon (optional)
Steps
- 1 Slice the peppers into thin strips, discarding seeds and ribs.
- 2 Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high until shimmering.
- 3 Add peppers, salt, and pepper. Sauté 6–8 min, stirring occasionally, until soft and slightly charred at the edges.
- 4 Add minced garlic for the last 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 5 Finish with a squeeze of lemon if using and serve.
