Pan-Seared Lemon Garlic Mahi-Mahi

- 2 mahi-mahi fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1.5 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lemon (half juiced, half in wedges)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Steps
- 1 Thaw and pat fillets completely dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- 2 Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high until shimmering.
- 3 Sear fillets undisturbed 3–4 min until a golden crust forms. Flip and cook another 3–4 min until the fish flakes easily and is opaque throughout.
- 4 Lower heat, add minced garlic for the last 30 sec until fragrant. Squeeze juice of half the lemon over the fish.
- 5 Plate, spoon pan juices over, scatter with parsley, serve with lemon wedges.
