Ingredients

Ingredients (6)
  • 1 cup full-fat oat milk
  • 1-2 large egg yolks
  • 1.5 tbsp sugar or maple syrup
  • 1.5 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Steps

  1. 1 Whisk yolks, sugar, salt, and cornstarch.
  2. 2 Warm oat milk in a small saucepan.
  3. 3 Temper yolks with warm milk, then return to pan.
  4. 4 Cook over medium-low heat until it just starts to bubble to activate the starch. Stir in vanilla.
