- Chicken (cut into thin cutlets)

Steps
- 1 Season the chicken cutlets with salt and pepper.
- 2 Brown the chicken in a large skillet with butter or oil. Once cooked through, remove and set aside.
- 3 In the same pan, add a bit of butter and the minced garlic. Sauté ~30 seconds until fragrant.
- 4 Pour in the lemon juice. Let it sizzle and scrape the bottom of the pan to incorporate the browned bits.
- 5 Turn the heat to medium-low and add the heavy cream. Simmer 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- 6 Return the chicken to coat in the sauce. Adjust with a splash of milk to mellow the tartness or more lemon for zing.
